‘PROMAK’ is working in the field of Education, Healthcare, livelihood etc. Our goal is to improve the condition of deprived living in poor human condition in slum cluster of LUCKNOW/U.P rural areas. Our main projects are:

EDUCATION

Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life; means, because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one’s rights – and evolve as a better citizen as well..

PROMAK educational initiative ``NATKHAT`` include the following:

  • Non Formal Education `{`4-8 yrs non-school going`}`,
  • Remedial Education `{`6-14 yrs school non- going`}`
  • Bridge Course `{`14-18 yrs drop-outs`}`
  • Computer Education`{`14-18 yrs school going`}` @GAMMA Communication Jankipuram.
  • Our ``NATKHAT`` programme Educate nearly 60+ children @JANKIPURAM Center

HEALTH CARE Programme

PROMAK organises Free Health camps under our Healthcare programme which aims to take comprehensive Health care services (preventive, promotive and curative) for the most underprivileged population in remote rural areas and urban slums.We work with underprivileged children under difficult circumstances such as child labour, poverty, affected with HIV/AIDS, street and slum dwellers, runaway and disaster-struck children etc.

PROMAK educational initiative ``NATKHAT`` include the following:

  • Health and Hygiene Awareness
  • Specialized Health Camps
  • Adolescent Health Education and Counseling
  • HIV/AIDS Awareness

We have organized  free camps at various slums in LUCKNOW and U.P Region over the past 13 Month. We have empanelled qualified MBBS, MD and Gynaecologist & Medical EXperts with our team. These camps have proved to be extremely beneficial for the people in the slums. On an average we treat about 25-75 patients in our every camp. We provoide free medicines, free consultations and counseling besides discounted diagnostics with various health centers.

youth devolpment programme/LIVELIHOOD

PROMAK Livelihood initiatives ``SHEEN`` include the following:

  • Placements
  • Networking
  • FREE Scholership
  • Education Awernness camp

Under the livelihood programme short-term courses are being offered to develop/enhance the skills/practical applications leading to income generation activities. These courses and skills can be broadly classified under: Computer-aided applications,Teaching Aptitude classes How to start Part Time Jobs , Handicrafts , Information Technology.

Our vocational training centres are also catering to  specific industry’s demand to prepare skilled workforce for them from amongst the local population.

Women Empowerment

PROMAK Girl child & Women Empowerment initiatives is “REWOG”

One of the major Aims of the PROMAK is to create a society which provides equal opportunities to all irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. This can only be achieved if empowerment is done at different levels.
Most of the programs initiated by us aim towards empowerment of the needy women, the underprivileged and the marginalized who has always been the exploited class.
We also help and provoide Financial assistance to poor patients, Scholarships to students, Financial assistance for marriage of poor girls etc.

Special Interventions/Awareness Programmes

PROMAK apart from its regular programmes, has been taking up many immediate needs based special interventions for reaching out to the most deserving population in difficult circumstances. It includes disaster management, cloths distribution, education awards & sponsorship, awareness and advocacy programmes etc.

Cloth & Blankets Distribution for Road side People & Labours

On the occasion of EVERY New Year PROMAK FOUNDATION distributed cloths and blankets to those who are homeless, sleep on footpaths, bus stops etc and slum dwellers.

Volunteers identifies needy people, widows, mentally and physically challenged and aged who are sleeping road side without proper covering in the winter. Our distribution programme helped nearly 100+ people. Many poor people were in the need of clothes especially widows, mentally challenged and old people.

Programmes such as exhibitions, audio-visual shows, talks, meetings, celebrations, melas, quality of life improvement programmes are being organised in different occasions.
