This Diwali Natkhat Wali : PROMAK NGO Diwali Celebration
Spread Light in the Lives of Underprivileged Children
Diwali, the festival of lights is the most celebrated event of the year in India. Whole country goes in a festive mood, people go shopping, decorating homes, distributing sweets & lighting their homes. It is the time for joy, fun and revelry. But, amongst all the age old traditions that we play out to celebrate this festival of lights the most important is the tradition of giving back. What better way to be thankful for the gifts you received, then give back to the world. So on the auspicious occasion of Diwali let’s look how you can bring smiles on the faces of kids from slum areas.
Donate – Give back to society
We do spend a lot on painting our homes, buying expensive gifts & crockery. But there are few underprivileged Children in our society who can’t afford this all. You can share our old clothes & shoes, donate Toy , Candle & books. This generous gesture would give you a peace of mind & will add to your celebrations.
Spend Time in NATKHAT Center
What better then, brightening somebody else’s day on Diwali? There are people out there who equally love the fervor surrounding the festivities but do not have the means to celebrate. You can get in touch with Promak Foundation if you want to go an extra mile in trying to help the needy.
Diwali “NATKHAT WALI”
Diwali, as it is believed, is all about “killing-the-evil-in-you” and bringing goodness to the fore! While we build camaraderie over a “game of gamble”; there are kids who are anxious about their future being at stake. On this Diwali, you can light a hope by funding education for a child longing for a ray of hope.
You can make a big difference by sharing joy with children and kids who are longing for love and affection. While we gorge on sweets and goodies lets share a little of these niceties with strangers we encounter who might not have access to the fun and merry like us. So, do spend some time with underprivileged children and be the reason for their smiles.
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love”
